Great take. Really strange you somehow moved genres and hit another of my favorite tunes and banjo players!
You say you got the tune from Instagram so not sure if you know this already, but there is a full Etta album (with this tune on it) here that you can even preview before buying: ettabaker.bandcamp.com/album/banjo
Its one of my favorite "happy" albums, with lovely stories and poems (and laughs) from Etta too.
Also if you wanna see her in action she appears on Mike Seegers Old Time Banjo styles. She shows here soft up-picking style there.

Thanks Scott, glad you liked it. Etta Baker was new to me. The Instagram totw is good that way. Thanks for the link, I'll have a listen. I've already got Railroad Bill on my list.

Great musician, check also her sister Cora Phillips!

Now I've found her there's no going back. Very similar guitar picking to Mississippi John Hurt. Working out Railroad Bill now, but struggling translating guitar up picking rhythm to banjo down picking! It's driven by thumbed bass notes on the guitar, that's hard banjo wise.......
