In an earlier post it is explained how to highlight a melody note. My question, is there a way to make the melody notes play louder in Tabledit so that we could hear it correctly. I understand finding a recording to hear the melody notes. But I would really like to slow the song way down to learn. Then gradually speed up. If there is a way. Thanks for your help.

Easily done.
Select the note to change. Right-click, then select dynamics. A pop-up opens and shows the current dynamics of the note. Select a dynamic for the note.
Another way:
Select the note to change. Click "Notes" on the main menu. Select Dynamics then set as desired.

The simplest way:
Select "View" on the main menu. Select "Palettes", Check "Dynamics" to display the Dynamics on the menu bar. Then when you select a note in the tab just click the desired dynamic on the menu bar.

Hi,
For the difference to be heard, the accompanying notes must be lower than the notes of the melody.
To avoid processing the notes one by one, it is useful to use the block editing possibilities.

You can thus select ALL notes with Ctrl+A and then apply dynamic mf or f to them.
Then select the notes of the melody (by clicking while holding down the Ctrl key) and apply the dynamic fff to them.
When modifying dynamics, it is recommended to display them on the screen by pressing the v key.
