Searching for an archived discussion on Caribbean banjo music, I came across some references to Bass and Cello banjo.
I know there's a tutorial on building a bass banjo, on 'Building & Repair', and of at least one 5-string Cello banjo, on BHO. But I'm curious as to whether on the BHO membership board some actual bass and cello banjo players might be found.
Since I'm a tenor banjo player, I'm particularly interested in the 4-string variety. But 5-stringers, feel free to chime in as well.

Not sure about members here but my first thought when it comes to cello banjo is Marcy Marxer often to be found playing Cathy Fink like here.
