Me [in living room watching Cardinal pitcher offer up a WP that bounces at batter's feet]: "What the heck ya doin?"
From kitchen: "Well... somebody's got to put the bread in the pans."

I am guessing that WP stands for "Wild Pitch".
And from a purely financial point of view, perhaps your wife puts the bread in the pans because she really kneads the dough. ![]()

My wife regularly yells, "STOP IT!" and I freeze for a few moments before it registers in my brain that she's yelling at the dog. I'm trained well, I suppose.

Mike, I doubt that's the reason... I ended up about 75 cents to the good at cards at the senior's leisure center this a.m.
[Some of the guys go 6 days a week... I usually go once or twice. FWIW, in 2019 I'm down about $4.]

Terry just announced she was changing into some comfy clothes .
I smartasskilly asked why I needed to know that.
She said " So you don't get mad when you realize you are talking to yourself!"

When I had two or more students with the same name, I got all their attention when I called out one of them.
