This arrangement was learned from a Bill Nesbitt lesson video. I detect some timing issues in my playing and I think I didn't bring out all of the melody.

It sounds good to me too ! It's one of those tunes that is simple to hum or whistle but difficult to execute in the context of bluegrass banjo technique.
