Tony, I can't imagine you not getting in.  I've seen your amazing videos on Tony Trischka's school and his flabbergasted reactions to them.

Last Saturday I recorded Bill Cheatham for what was supposed to be my easy tune and it took me around 20 takes to get a version I was comfortable having anyone listen to -- let alone Bela Fleck.

My biggest challenge as a player is getting through an entire piece cleanly and playing what I intend without having to bail and play something easy.

I will be surprised if I get in. I'm not being modest.

i do several takes also! you are not alone! since we upload one song at a time now, i give a lot of thought to what i want to do. then i have to be able to play it..haha my problem, and one ill struggle with at camp if i get to go, is i cant remember well. thanks for the kind words !

Still no word here, there were 166 applications for 100-120 spots. It blows me away they are not letting the cat out of the bag

No word yet here, either. Been checking my email around 10 times a day. Aside from my own views, my rehearsal video has been viewed 4 times... hoping that's a good sign, but trying not to get my hopes up. Probably a committee vote. Anyone else been tracking their video's view counts?



Also, do you think they'll only notify the folks that get accepted?  The "thank you" email from the camp said they'd inform selected participants by 3/31.

My video has been watched twice: Once by me to confirm it worked, once by someone associated with the camp. At least I assume it was someone with the camp, since the URL is private.

Yeah, I was sure to set my URL’s privacy as “unlisted” per the application instructions. Looks like a fair amount of applicants overlooked that part when they uploaded their videos to YouTube.
