Does anyone have any information on Dan Knowles, I haven't seen a post from him in several months. I always looked forward to his interesting posts from his workshop in Paris, Kentucky.....he was on one of his Mississippi Riverboat Tours and after that we never heard from him again. He was a great contributor to that forum, steady posts about his ongoing projects.

If I remember correctly, he had a nice big thread going, on 'A Luthier's Life,' which apparently has yet to be finished.

I wish Dan all the best if he has indeed left the Hangout. We all miss him.

He's still a member here and his last visit was 4 mths ago even though he last posted on his thread 230 days ago.  Maybe he just wanted a break.

Thank you for your worry and concern. All is well here in Paris, Tennessee, in fact I am so busy that I can hardly see straight! As of this moment I am preparing for a major Art event in HANNABAL, MO, building banjos, guitars and even another banjo d'Amore, EXPECTING A NEW GRANDSON! Doing a bit of violin repair work at the VIOLIN SHOP in Nashville and performing for AMERICAN CRUISE LINES riverboats AMERICA & the QUEEN OF THE MISSISSIPPI.
