Pardon me.....it's very unlike me to be a spelling nazi....but...... shouldn't  "ass"  be spelt " arse " ?        If Father Jack is to be the authority on the pronunciation of the word ( and I believe he is )  then perhaps it should be even spelt " arrrrse "

I’d like to say there isn’t anything wrong with or about Steve Goodman, his songs, or his verses too! Frankly to mix up this good person’s name with stuff as this is a slur against his good name.

As well as this site being a banjo forum, it should not forget it is part of the entire musical playing genre.

The crude style infected here and remembered by Disco Kid. Banned for his earlier thread about this guy?

It does not look good or respectfully toward the late Steve Goodman.

There are rules regarding respect. They should not ever be forgotten.

Reminds me of another old lyric to keep ones mouth quiet and  be  thought a fool than speak and remove all doubt.

Clint portrayed a badass Good Guy, thereby complicating things.
And I don't recall any actress being featured as a major character, so as to show any sort of good ass.

Here is how to tell if "ass" is a bad word. If your GI doctor came in and said he needed to put a scope up your ass how would you react. Or, if your proctologist said your ass needed surgery. We should all learn to use accepted medical terminology.
