i just bought a Nechville Phantom and need a capo for it. Any suggestions? I know last time I had a phantom I used a Shubb radiused capo. Are there any other options?

Elliott, Showcase and possibly Huber will make one for you. Pricy, but they are the best. I'm sure the Shubb is fine too.

Phil at kateyzcapos.com/ made a nice one for my Phantom. It has the radius and an extra-long yoke so I slide it up behind the neck volute to keep it away from the nut. I can capo all the way to the 7th fret. Top of the line and well worth the $$$

I had the radius Shubb but got my KatEyz reconditioned and now only use that on my Phantom. If I had the cash I would buy a KatEyz for my other banjos too, really nice capo.
The best capo I ever owned was a Showcase though. I loved that one but it went with a banjo I sold as part of the deal. If I had even more money I'd buy a Showcase for all my banjos. REALLY nice capo.
Just thinking, I am 99% sure Phantoms need a C capo and not a B capo.

Just got a Katz Eye capo for my phantom. Works fantastic. Paige and Shubb capos were not very good with my radiused neck.
