I have been downloading applications and trying everything suggested and then some in attempt to open tabs... I've never seen anything like this. The conclusion I have come to is that it is not possible to open any of these tabs (.bjo) with a Mac computer because the software is not supported? If anyone owns a Mac and is able to open tabs, please, please enlighten me. It's so great all these tabs exist, but, man, it would be so much greater if I could access them. lol. Any help appreciated. Thank yoU!

I believe you can open these with TablEdit, which is available for the Mac.
Check out the latest demo (free) and see if it works for you.
Enjoy!

I agree with Straw. TablEdit will open .BJO files on a PC, so I would expect the Mac version to do so as well.

Right. Only the paid version of TablEdit for the Mac can open files from other, but not all, tab-writing software. It does open TabRite ".bjo" files.
Once you have TablEdit on your computer, you can open a "Get Info" window on any .bjo file and choose TablEdit as the application to open all files of that type.
TabRite software was abandoned by its developers in 2005.
The Mac version of TabRite viewer stopped working on Macs with the release of the "Lion" operating system in 2011.

I have tabledit and that has made it possible to access a lot of them.. I think just the first ones I was looking for were tabrite. I'll look into how much the paid tabledit is if that will make it possible. Specifically, im really wanting a ga mail tab and can't find a pdf or tef..
Thanks yall!

I think you can use muse score to read and convert .bjo files but I will have to try it out. I do not have a mac but if it works on the windows version it should on the mac.
Here is a link to the mac version of muse score musescore.org/en/download
