Ive never been, wife lived there for 7 years. I would love to go and I would love to go even more when there are some great bluegrass.

Tim. If you come to London I run a bluegrass club here on the 2nd thursdayof the month. It's called My Grass is Blue. We have lots of fine acts. Drop in and join in. NBove the look of your banjos. Tim

John, I'm not sure, but I think this might be the only UK date - if so, it might be worth the trip up north, and Reading's not that far away!!  :)

There are four dates:

July 23: Underneath the Stars Festival - Barnsley

July 24: Summertyne, Gateshead

July 29: Bolehall Manor Club, Tamworth

July 30: Greystone's, Sheffield.



Details are on my site. I would have booked more dates - I had several more offers - but I'll be recording a banjo record during the week with some great UK musicians, and Sierra had to get back to the US after the July 30 date. I'd definitely love to play more UK solo dates in the future.

I got an email on 26 June from Tamworth Bluegrass (Dave Teague) thanking me for my ticket purchase and how I would get a wristband.

I would not agree about the naffness of their website:
