Howdy All,

I've just joined and thoroughly checked out Bennett's site. This is a really good one. It's organized and well thought out. All kinds of samples of live playing, videos, tef files, PDFs. Bennett takes you through each piece he's teaching and breaks it all down carefully.

I'll let you be the real decider. It's well worth 4.95 a month, at least I believe that is the fee for entrance. This site is probably best for advanced beginners or intermediate and advanced players.

I don't recommend many sites but this one is a keeper....good luck...Jack  p.s. Bennett also replies as quickly as he can to any question you may have...Jack

yep i've learnt a lot from Bennett's site, i recommend. unfortunately it won't let me log on, i've paid my fees and asked for help but nothing forthcoming yet.

I subscribed several months ago and find it very informative for all levels of players. If you are deep into theory or want to try you hand at single string or chromatic licks it's all there! I like the fact that Bennett wants you to listen and learn but does have tab for the rough spots. Not many people get a sit down with Steve Martin and play banjo in his play.

Has anyone tried any of the apps? Any word on if they will have an android app of the listen&learn Banjo? I see they have one for the pocket lick banjo. Would love to give these a try on the phone.

Hey Mike, right now we don't have Listen & Learn: Banjo on the Android store, but we are working on a brand new app that will be available for iOS devices and on the web. It'll be similar to the Listen & Learn app, but the best way to describe it is as a combination of our Pocket Lick and Listen & Learn apps, where you will be challenged and taught to learn by ear, but you'll also have the ability to swap out different licks within the tab you're working on. It's going to be a completely unique and fun learning experience.
