Seems my clawing thumb has dug a small hole all the way through my Goatskin. Very small cut, maybe 1/4", but I'm sure that it will grow in time. Any suggestions? It does not seem to affect the tone or volume, at all.

Soak the edges of the hole with fresh thin cyanoacrylate. I've done that with a couple of mine and they survived for years. You should be able to find the cyano at a hobby shop.

I patched a small tear in one of my old hide heads with hide glue and a small patch of linen cloth on the back of the head. Worked fine.

Send me a note of you need a small patch of goatskin to repair that head. I have plenty! I agree with Bill R. - use super glue to adhere a patch - works fine.
