Just out of curiosity how wide are the fretboards on Nechville banjos at the nut? they dont really specify they look wider and radiused

Mine is standard. I think most builders do wide necks as custom jobs.

I have a non radiused fretboard. It is not a narrow neck. but it is not extra wide either.

Jeff, nut width standard is 1 1/4". But we make them wider or narrower upon request.

My Classic has a flat, non-radius neck and as Al Price says, it is 1 1/4 inches at the nut.

My NUVO is 1 1/2" at the nut. Its slightly wider (I think) than the standard nuts since the NUVO has all five strings going straight up the neck to the peg head.
