When Windows-10 came out TablEdit (and TefView) like any other midi playing software had extreme problems playing tunes as Windows-10 currently does not natively support MIDI.  Many users installed Coolsoft's Virtual Midi Synth and downloaded the soundfont "Timbres of Heaven" and this combination allowed TablEdit to play back tunes with sounds even better than the older MIDI sounds.

However, Matthieu (TablEdit's author) has been hard at work and has found a way for TablEdit to once again play MIDI sound either via MIDI-Mapper or via the GS Wavetable Synth.  Consequently he has released a new version (2.75b7) on the Registered Users page for currently registered users to download.  I have downloaded it and tested it and it seems to work fine - I can now switch between playing tunes with the soundfont or with MIDI sounds.

Thanks Matthieu - very much appreciated.

TefView, the free player from TablEdit, has also been updated to allow midi sounds to be played when running the program on Windows-10.  This new version can be downloaded from hth following URL:
