Met a fellow at an Art & Craft fair, plays trombone & Trumpet, is looking to get tenor banjo instructions.
I can teach him some beginning chords, but he's looking to play Dixieland, play melodies and suchlike.
Says he's called the University music dept AND the Wisconsin Conservatory and the highly regarded White Music store. Found nobody.
Told him I'd ask 96,000 of my friends on the Hangout, forward the info to him.

Probably his best bet is to get lessons online via Skype.
I recommend my teacher, Hall of Fame member and former member of Woody Allen's jazz band, Cynthia Sayer.

Or!! He could take lessons with me, a Banjo Hall of Fame teacher of tenor banjo. I do Skype lessons. Very easy and reasonable price.
