Well, at best it's Asian, post 1979 or so. Real US VEGAs never had flanges with Gibson style cut-outs in them.

I don't know what it was before someone used Vega style inlays. The pearl can be purchased from many sources.
It certainly appears to be Asian but I've never heard of a Galaxy Trading Vega with a '20s style NO 3 / Vegaphone headstock with Deluxe / NO 7 or NO 9 inlays, not even the presentation grade banjos that they made for NAMM.
Vega in name only.
