Don't see too many top tensions come available.  ebay.com/itm/Stelling-Red-Fox-...330841470

I've always had a thing for top tensions (although my back disagrees with me now :)

What a sweet banjo.

Was that a factory job?   I didn't know Stelling made TTs.

I just hate to see someone's "Baby" be sold at a pawn shop. They probably needed money pretty badly to give that up as collateral.

Yeah, it's an upgrade.

That neck looks like it got a serious back bow in it.

My brother in law checked this out this afternoon

He says it plays beautifully.  Wish I had some cash to spend.

Wow. I can't imagine hoisting a banjo heavier than mine.

Very pretty! Love top tensions. That's current price is very good.

I wonder how high it will go. What would it cost new from Stelling (with the top tension option)?

Double that and the witchs' broomstick....................................

Mebbe it's just me, but somethin' seems funny, a banjo that nice (obviously once owned by someone who -knew- its worth) turning up in a "no reserve" pawn shop auction...?

Then again, may be nuthin' wrong at all...

How's the seller's feedback history?  Is he accepting returns?

Shop has 4290 feedbacks with a 99.4% rating.

All kinds of stuff ends up in pawn shops for all kinds of reasons.  Maybe they had something the owner wanted more and arranged a trade.  Perhaps the seller was just hard up for cash or maybe he/she passed away and his family sold it for a quick buck.   Lots of reasons it could be hanging on the wall.

Few years back a Williams Kenny Ingrim was at
At pawn shop, lots of stellings and lots of others to
Nothing strange about that

You don't seem many of those.

Jeez....I'd sell all my banjos to get ahold of it.

Or, maybe if I stop eating and paying rent for a couple months...

Every auction from this guy starts at $1. Properly done, it's a very good strategy. Get a few people to commit to winning at a low price and watch it clinb.
