Tenor isn't my forte, but after a recent inquiry about the lack of availability for any type of construction drawing for a tenor banjo I thought I'd throw one together. The plan is presented as a pdf and can be taken on a thumb drive to any good copy shop and they will print you out a full size copy. As such, you can work directly off the print and the fret positions will even be accurate. There are enough working dimensions on the print to get you where you need to be, even if you don't print the plan. PDFs can be opened and zoomed in to clarify details if needed.
The plan is for a 17 fret 21" scale tenor designed to tune to GDAE. I know from past experience with tenors that the shorter 19" scales will result in a flabby fourth string when tuned to GDAE "Irish" tuning, so the 21" scale should clarify that issue a bit.
Anyhow, it's here for the taking if anyone would like it.

Anyone noticing any typos please post here... I did notice I failed to add the "w" for the .024" wound third string in the string recommendations listing. There shouldn't be too many blatant errors, but I'm more than willing to correct anything that sticks out and post a new revision of the pdf. There's nothing there that's going to cause any problems with a build, but I would like it to be as accurate as possible. As I stated, Irish tenor isn't my field of expertise, and this is based on the sum total of exactly ONE tenor build! (..but I DO have a bit of experiance under my belt...).
