Joe the banjo guy - Posted - 04/21/2015: 08:41:20
Here is a link to my band, Dakota Joe, performing a song I wrote. Check out a couple of our other tunes while you're over on our bandcamp site if you'd like.
This is a pretty strange song. It's a dark little tale about a guy who has delusions (or maybe they aren't delusions?) of being a werewolf, and he may or may not be aware that these are delusions (if they are!). Like I said, strange. He's set his murderous sites on some of the outsiders who have been moving into his rural home, who he doesn't think understand and respect the place they're colonizing.

Now that's refreshingly different - and I like it.
The only previous song I can compare it to is Warren Zeavon's "Werewolves of London" - youtube.com/watch?v=iDpYBT0XyvA

Definitely some Warren Zevon influence on this one, no doubt.
