i've been firmly impressed with my A scale Pisgah Dobson-the neck shape is wonderful and the ring of the notes are beautiful.

Yes, I'm really impressed with my 12" pisgah walnut Possum model. Beautiful to look at, easy to play, mellow to hear.

I picked around on a Pisgah or two at the Janet Davis Music Store in NW Arkansas last year. I thought they had wonderful tone and volume, but the necks were clunkier--thicker, fatter, than I like.

I have heard that song played many times, but that is beutiful.
I have played a pisgah and loved the tone. They are simple in style, which makes them even cooler.
