I just put a new J Balch goatskin head on my Romero and strung it up with Steve Sands heavy nylon strings and I'm really loving the way it sounds tuned down low.  



A while back I recorded a version of Sally Coming Through the Rye that came from Lester McCumbers.  Here's a different version from Wade Jarvis that I learned from listening to Rayna Gellert and John Herrmann on her great album Ways of the World.  I'm tuned to F modal (fCFBbC).
