Oldgoat, I have one of the mahogany ones and am pretty happy with it.   There are some sound files posted on here of both of them...just do a search!!

I played one a Mahogany model you would be better off with a Sullivan Festival way less expensive and they sound better.

I have heard some really good sounding Sullivan Festivals. It is a shame they don't sell them anymore. They were a bargain

The original models with dot inlay. I always wondered, they must have lost money or really made a small profit on those Festival Banjos.
