I love this new video of Leroy Troy I recorded it last week in Goodlettsville, TN. It features some of Leroy Troy s banjo tricks. He likes to call it "cuttin' monkey shines". Y'all enjoy his tricks and twirls. I think this is the definition of good country and bluegrass music! Part of the New Banjo Video Tuesday Series.

Monkey shines are intriguing. I saw Dom Flemons doing some when he played with TCCD. I think there is an important lesson in there.
