Trying to make ukes accessible to those who ain't real fussy.
2-liter plastic bottle for head, held down by glue and thumb tacks.
Pegs disc sanded from 3/8 in dowel.
The uke strings are 30, 50, 40, & 30 lb test fishline .
I call it the "Model P", so I can think they're complimenting my instrument, any time I hear anybody say that some instrument "....sounds like P Uke!"

Good one Mike. Once again, you've made something out of almost nothing. And if you were ever stranded on a desert island, not only would you have a source of entertainment, you could re-assemble it into fishing gear. :->

My #6 daughter and I made one of these a couple of years ago - she decorated it up really nice with magic marker.
