Hi, I'm putting up a beautiful Washburn "Ladies size" 420 presentation banjo for sale in the classifieds.



Got a high price on it, but its incredibly rare in this size,and Ive seen the more common 421's go for this much and more on ebay.



Also got an unusual high end Washburn for sale as well, any model  info much appreciated

Hi Skip, are all these flush-frets banjos (the three banjos in the picture)? My Presentation Concert is, and until now I havn't been able to determine if this is original. To my recollection the descriptive paragraph in the 1892 catalog (see Pleijsier 2008, page 186) doesn't mention anything about the frets, although such, either raised or flush, are shown in the picture.
