There are 2  Burlile marked tone rings for sale on Ebay. I've never seen one's marked like this.  The several that I have owned have always been stamped BUR and the date on the underside. 



Is this the new way Jim is marking his tone rings? What do you guys think?

I have three of Jim's rings and none look like that.  Two are stamped the way you described and the third has no stamp or ID at all, but I know it's his because I got it from him personally.

I don't care about his tonerings but I do think he should answer his phone and finish the banjos for the folks who have been waiting

How long doe's it take to build a banjo ........



At the rate he's going he'll produce one banjo every 7 to 10 years sad



I would hate to be the fourth guy on the list ..... Cause Damn indecision

The eBay seller stated "Jim Burlile made this tone ring for me about 15 years ago." so maybe that explains the differences with the markings on the tone rings that you have.
