I would like to use nylguts for an "A" scale banjo tuned to open "E" eBEG#B. which nygut set would be best? Minstrel, Classic med or classic light?

I have this setup on my Prust banjo and I use minstrel nylguts. It sounds great to me. Guess it would be personal preference and how deep of tone you really want. I like a real deep mellow sound.

On a normal banjo, each set of nylguts would be ok. On a A-scale banjo, I would try the heaviest set...
