Has anybody else tried this configureation.Ive got a 26 style 4 BB and was trying to decide what conversion ring to put in it.I had tried Mitches tonering mate in a couple prewar archtops Ive had,and they sounded great.I put one in this BB and all I can say is wow!I had to go with a little tighter setup than on a standard flathead to get it to pop,but the woody, hollow tone Im getting is amazing. Its got a great dry tone and not as rattley as my Huber, but it suits this banjo very well.A great great clean sounding banjo.I dont useally get on this forum, but I just wanted to share this with my fellow banjo lovers. If your thinking about converting your BB,give one of Mitches tonering mates a shot, youll be glad you did.He is a great guy to do business with too. Thanks,Kevin
