Another vote for an archtop!

I just can't wait to get MY hands on one. Very nice.

Tube and Plates are the most wood left in one my rims, my favorite.

Yes, a tube banjo makes the ideal openback.

I request supply of tubes, plates and shoes. I already make my own tubes out of 3/8" American product.

Notice SAGA makes you buy a resonator when you want a 2-piece, like buying a big umbrella when all you want is a swimsuit and a hat.

Good luck from the Grapefruit farm

The Product Description mentions the 20-hole tone ring, but that's not included in the Specifications. Assuming that's a mistake.

Pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference between the RK30 and say, the RK35?

RK-35:  1-piece flange

RK-30: 2-piece, tube and plate, flange, with RK hexagonal flange hole shape

RK-30 also has a different inlay.

2-piece flange results in a thicker rim, I believe.

Both have matte finish, but the colors are considerably different.  The R30 is "burgundy", which looks very reddish compared to the R35's more sedate brown.
