Cello Banjo tune I wrote five years ago - one of my early tunes on the Cello Banjo not that long after it was resuscitated in 2008 as the CEB-5 by Gold Tone, for whom I am an independent product specialist and retailer (banjocrazy.com).
gCGCD one octave lower
There's an old YouTube video of me playing this. The head-tapping was reined in when I discovered the neck-lift, which raises the fingerboard 3/8" above the head and aligns the strings on more of a parallel plain with the head. youtube.com/watch?v=JRwwJ2KQy5w

Lovely tune Paul. Again, some middle eastern sounding (to me) riffs among your smooth playing.

Your cello banjo found a good home with you. Mine with me--played this morning in deep meditation before commencing the active day.

Janet - sounds like equilibrium through frequency modulation. The instrument has a healing vibration.
Bob, Rick and Laurence, thanks for your comments.
Rick - thanks for encouraging my banjo-goes-east tendencies. The fact that the cello banjo could capture that flavor is certainly one of the things that drew me to it.

That was incredible. Low notes have always had such a special beauty for me...
Keep on doin' what you're doin'.

Thank you, Jared. The low-frequency energy of this instrument does have a profound effect. Glad you appreciate it.

The sounds you produce on this wonderful instrument are truly mesmerising.
