October, 1928 - Jacob's Orchestra Monthly magazine.



Sorry about scan.  It is from microfilm.



Fine print identifies Bacon's band as "Fred Bacon and his Silver Bell Factory Boys".



I've read that early radio stations were sponsored by and located in commercial establishments.  Here, The Travelers Insurance Company Station in Hartford, Conn.
