Sam Bayard's field recordings from the mid-1900s in Pennsylvania are now available on YouTube. This was noted on the Banjo-L list, and I've been listening it for a while this morning. It exists as a youtube playlist, where the video is an image of the typewritten notes associated with the field recordings. It's organized by artist/source.

Very cool.
Here's hoping that PSU Press does the right thing and re-releases Bayard's "Dance to the Fiddle, March to the Fife" book (psupress.org/books/titles/0-27...99-9.html). Having to purchase at rare book prices is not a good option. Pressure on Missouri U Press eventually got RP Christeson's two volumes of "Fiddler's Repertory" re-released. Time for another campaign?
