Here's my list of Earl's songs that are in my itunes library. They are listed from the slowest to the fastest tempo as an aid to players who might wish to play along with the recordings and not get "blown out of the water" by the speed of the song. I also listed which ones are waltzes. Of course you could change these songs to any tempo with the aid of a computer.You will notice I don't have every song Earl ever did so I would welcome song titles I'm missing. By the way I did not discriminate as to what group he was with I want to just focus on Earl. I will update the list as needed. p.s. I also would like to add keys and tunings to make kind of a "Earl Scruggs discography" for banjoists to refer to. I hope this would be of use to all Earl aficionados. Rick

That is a cool list. What is striking is that he didn't have a few different "gears". He played at pretty much every possible tempo from 35 to 193!

When you consider capo position, remember that they often tuned roughly one fret sharp, at least in the early days.
