Hello all,
Take a look under "BB Green Mt. Hop" on my music. This was played on my 1926 TB-3 banjo with the original Ball Bearing tone ring and five string converison neck. To me, it sounds more like a flathead than an archtop Ball Bearing. Let me know what you think.... This banjo is loud and proud and has no reason to apologize for being a Ball Bearing Banjo! I've been around many banjos and this one is as good as any as it is--I don't plan on changing a thing.

Sounds great. I love the old ball-bearing rings - I don't understand why anyone would ever want to replace them.

Good picking on a very good sounding banjo. I have a 1925 TB-3 that I plan to convert to 5 string and if it sounds as good as yours I will be 100% satisfied.

Good job. Love Reno's D tuning songs. Been messing around with Home Sweet Home and I really like it better in D than C.

Great cut on one cool tune..... bet I might know where that banjo came from ?????? 
I might just have one or more of those banjers laying around, not quite as good as that one LOL
The wait was worth it for that sound....
