Recently received my Tranjo Express....I thought it would be ok for putting in a suitcase having something I could at least pretend to play when traveling. Well, it totally exceeded my expectations.....well made, very playable and sounds very good, it breaks down and goes together very easily. I find myself playing it all the time. And, Sam is a very nice person to deal with. Rick

I was at IBMA in Raleigh, and came THIS CLOSE to buying one of his travel banjos - great product! Only reason I didn't is because I need to watch my pennies for little while, but you can be sure I will be thinking about picking one up soon. He was very nice to talk to as well. One of the stand-outs at the vendor show for me.

My Tranjo is not only my travel banjo but my practice banjo. It's been from Norway to New Zealand, but it's greatest value is having a light-weight, not-so-loud sounding banjo to practice with. And because of these features, I can practice more often and longer.
