My Huber banjo (purchased new) had been sounding off for a couple of weeks. I did everything I could to get it sounding right again.

Finally I called Joe at Huber banjos and made an appointment to bring it in. They went over it and found that the head had streached out too much. They changed the head and set up the banjo and had it ready for me the same day. Didn't charge me a thing. And I'm a nobody.

That is incredible customer service and I have to say thank you to Joe and the folks at Huber.

Huber doesn't consider you a "nobody"...you're a Huber customer.

Service after the sale is as important in making a buying decision as the product itself.

Huber Banjos is a small, family-owned business with only 4 employees, located in Hendersonville, Tennessee. On average we will build only 75 or 80 banjos in a year, so it is our goal to give personal attention to each order and great service after the sale.

A man died, met St. Peter and was given a choice - up or down.  He asked if he could sample each, and Peter said yes. He went down first for a day - wine women and song - had a blast. Then Peter sent him up where he found it boring - harps, trumpets, and angels.  So he told Peter he was choosing down. When he got there everything was different.  All pain and suffering.  He went back to Peter and asked why it was no longer what he experienced the first time.  Peter replied "You were a prospect then, now you are a customer".

I can't praise Huber banjos enough.  I got to really sit down in quite and sample them at their nice IBMA booth in Raleigh.  Everyone on display just knocked me over with tone and the ease of play. I told Joe and Steve both that if anyone is looking for a great Gibson banjo just get a  Huber and be done with your hunt.  These guys have studied the best of the best Gibson banjos and I think they are on to something great that has been missing in many other Gibson clones by other makers.  They found it and they are getting it right.  And when you add in super service with super people it's a winning combination at Huber Banjos of TN.  Great job guys.
