FYI, Sugar in the Gourd Radio's server crashed a couple of days ago.  Anyone who would like to contribute can do so at:

Also FYI.... this excellent radio station is financed, hosted, programmed, staffed, etc. by John Salmon, a member here at BHO.

I don't think that John solicited donations the last time his equipment crashed (I think it was about 3 years ago) and I haven't seen any other posts like this, so here's a pitch for music-lovers to support John's work to stream old-time music 24 x 7.

I'll donate up to four (4) pre mounted banjo heads -  for folks who contribute toward John's new equipment.  A $60 donation will earn one (1) 4-star natural (unstained) goatskin head (11" or 12" size).  The first four (4) responders will be selected.

If anyone is interested, contact me regarding the size head you want.  You make the donation directly to SITG.  Send me confirmation and I'll mount your head and mail to you.

Aw man, you guys are the best. Mark and co, thanks so very much for your support. I am hoping to have a new PC in place soon and may even have music back online by 10/1.
