Several folks have requested photos of the Custom Truetone which we will be bringing to IBMA 2013 at Raleigh next week.  This banjo has the Engineered Rim and the HR-30 tone ring which constitute the Truetone package. The fingerboard is ebony with the version of "hearts & flowers" inlay which we call our "Scruggs" pattern. The metal is plated in our antique nickel, except for the tone ring, which is gold-plated. The neck and resonator are curly maple and the banjo is equipped with a set of Keith D-Tuners as well.  Stop by the Huber booth next week and give it a try!

That is pretty close to my perfect combination of options. Is that ebony board available as an option on other banjos? Beautiful instrument there, looks like a piece of art.

Huber banjos are normally constructed with rosewood fingerboards.  We can change to ebony on any model for an upcharge of $15.00.

A very fine looking instrument, the antique nickel plating is a very nice compliment.
