Thinking about swapping tone rings.I know my Bales banjo rim was cut for a long skirt ring.I just need to know if the Burlile rings are long skirt?Thanks ken

You can put a short-skirt tonering on a banjo that was made for a long skirt. You cannot install a long skirt tonering on any banjo that is wearing a short skirt though.

It is my understanding that unless they were otherwise custom turned, Jim Burlile rings are long skirt.
