I hope this is the correct place.
I am looking hard at a GLS Audio Instrument Microphone ES-57 to use to mic my Banjo.
This is for open mics so I don't want to go crazy on the price.
There are some really positive reviews on this.
Any opinions out there?

When my band was playing, we used AKG C1000's for instruments. They work very well. Others of course will have a differing opinion.
