Does anybody have or know where I can find a complete Tab for Hard Travelin' by Flatt & Scruggs. I've always loved that low "C" growl that Earl plays on his banjo but have been unable to find any decent tab of it. Here is the soundtrack

Capo up 2 and play like you are in C.  C chord formation starts the song.

You will match up with the recording I think.  Then if you can slow it down with Slowdowner or Transcribe I think you may be able to tab it out without too much trouble.  Give it a go.  You could wait til the cows come home before you get a tab from someplace.

Thanks. The Slowdown suggestion is working good. Also, I believe Earl played it in a Drop C (Low D string down 2) and capoed 2 to make it in D. Of course he probably had the tuning up 1/2 step also, and I can't be certain if he used a copo or not, but I'm sure he did. I also found a down the fret version of the melody in Banjo Newsletter. I guess I'll have to come up with my own version which is close (but not exact) to the Scruggs version. I'm sure there is some string bending also, and I'm using my pinkie finger in a C chord on the 3rd fret of the 1st string for that. Some experimenting and the You Tube version is helping a lot.  Thanks again.
