Grich if you wouldn't mind please add to your Madison line a "Flush fret nylon strung" banjo.
This way I won't have to buy a Madison and rip the frets out and fill them.
Thank You

Instead of buying a banjo, then destroying it..or waiting for sothing that won't happen...check out the classified, they pop up and I'd be surprised if there isn't one available now...
Or is it the specifics of the Madison that you'd want but with flush frets.
Decided to do a quick look before hitting the post button,,,I don't know this feller, but this looks nice and the price is good...

RK please build Tenor Banjos!
Here in Ireland the market for tenors is obviously bigger than 5 string (but the 5-string is gaining in popularity) and in the US and elsewhere there is more demand for 5 string. But I would have thought that in all markets there is a bigger demand for tenors rather than 6 string,is that a wrong assumption? Recording King introduced a 6 string last year, while most if not all of their competitors are also making tenors.Maybe they feel there is a niche to be filled with the growing popularity of the banjo 'sound' with guitarist who just want to transfer what they know directly.
I've been asking them to make tenors for a while now, hopefully some day soon - if they can find the space to make 6 strings surely there is space to make some tenors,eh Greg? ![]()

WAN? Please decode for me.
I liked beefier necks as found on many vintage Vegas. Bart Reiter's neck profiles were about perfect for me - one of the reasons that I chose my "Reiter-Phone 3000" (Vegaphone conversion he did using Coles 3000 style inlays).

Thanks. Who knows, it could join other terms like OPF in the BHO shorthand.

Greg - that thread about the RK Gibson necks, its a riot - one of the most entertaining things I read here recently! With that in mind was wondering how serious ARE YOU about the tenors? I mean I have asked RK each year for the last 5 at the Frankfurt show,so earlier I contacted our sales rep at RK.
Just heard back and Im told something vague about new 'Dirty Thirties'? banjos - tell me more! Will there be a tenor version?
