I can very rarely find information on the Bart Reiter Whyte Laydie Custom Deluxe. Some random questions/comments:
Just curious how many of my BanjoHangout friends own one. I do. Would you be willing to exchange photos of your babies?
Is this model as rare as I think it is? I know Bart is not making them any more.
How many were made?
Any opinions on its quality, tone, and playability?

Myself, I've got one of Bart's..kindava Vega #3 style. Pretty plain.
Two years ago..I made the jump and bought a Vintage Vega-Fairbanks Whyte Laydie. KEE_RIST! Now I know what the shoutin's all about.

Can you please say more about the WL you got? Do you play it with steel or nylon? Plastic head? How big a pot? etc.
