Just wanted to give a brief Review of my Extra large Little Maggie fingerpicks.
I acquired a pair (XL) brass fingerpicks from BHO member Judy Townsend recently.. I had used them on my Deering tone ring banjo but in the meantime, I had purchased a wooden tone ring Nechville which doesn't have quite the projection of the tone ring.. I was beginning to experiment with different heads etc.. to get more sustain and projection and then I switched back to my Little Maggie picks and realized I had all the projection I need. It's just something about the lightweight of them and the way the thin metal pops off the string that provides a lot of volume and a lot of "POP" Don't think I'd want anything else if I'm trying to be heard. For now, I just have the brass prototype. If the final production design is any better.. I can't wait. I have big fingertips so it's defenitely the (XL) or Old 97 model for me
I hope you guys give them a try if you looking for a fast comfortable pick with a lot of pop.. ps ( I started wearing them a little closer to the fingertip after I got used to them)
