Did you like it? What difference in sound did you notice? Was it worth doing, all things considered? Do you think hide heads on a 12" is  much more humidity-sensitive than 11"? Banjered

Done it. Like it.



It's a woody thunky kind of tone. Not real loud, but it wasn't loud before. I waterproofed it with some Tru-seal sealant from Tru-Value hardware and it's not moisture sensitve much at all. Before that it was unbareable to play in humidty, although I thought the sound had more subtleties which was nice. Here's a pic:



Oh yeah, did I mention it's a dyed head from Bill Miller? Loves me a redhead cool
