jbalch had asked me to post a sound sample of my new banjo. The way he plays, I think he should do it...but because that is not practical I took a shot at it. Please forgive the video and sound quality because I used an old camera I have. Hopefully it will give you an idea of how it sounds. A little Old Joe Clark in G.   Regards, Rick

Sounds great! I haven't heard too many of Bart's banjos live but they generally sound brighter than I care for with too many overtones, but not his RP model. I listened to a few RPs on UTube and they all sound really good, thinking about getting one myself. I played one of Bart's early Tubaphones today, very sweet mellow sounding too, but I would probably choose the RP over even his tubaphone for an old timey instrument. Y'all have fun! Banjered

Yeah, thanks for the sound sample!  Your RP sounds great, as does your playing.  My RP is one of my top 2 favorite banjos.  It will get even better, because they seem to improve with age, so just keep on playing it.

Nice clip! The Bart Reiter Round Peak was my first good banjo, and still my favorite. Bart has a real winner with this model! I know you'll love it for many years to come...

that is a really cool setting of OJC....yours? or??? you and the BRRP sound pretty durn nice, too.....
