I want to let everyone know about my experience with Rickard Banjos. I ordered a Whyte Laydie kit earlier this year. I was very pleased with the communication, the price, and the product I received. The banjo kit was complete except for sanding and finishing. It showed up fully assembled and ready to play. The workmanship was, in my opinion, excellent.

I have been playing the banjo since that time, and really enjoying it, but came to realize that it was missing one element of 'the sound' that I was searching for. I contacted Sean at Rickard banjos, and was BLOWN AWAY at their response. They stood behind their product in every way, and although they made it exactly as I had asked--they went above and beyond what they had to in order to make sure that I was 110% satisfied with their banjo. It's not often you find commitment to the customer like that anymore.

Kudos to those guys. and I promise you, if you're looking for an openback--you won't be disappointed with Rickard's product.

I had a similar experience with the people at Rickard's. As I stated in a previous post , I found them to be customer oriented. Any banjo products that I need in future, if they are available at Rickard's, that is where I will buy them. I really can"t say enough positive things about their service, product, and attitude.

I'll add that Rickard Banjos is just as responsive and customer focused for small orders.  I just ordered my second set of hooks and misc. hardware from them, and just like the first time, I forgot some parts.  And just like the first time, all it took was a phone call and everything was straightened out in a jiffy.  Top notch operation selling top notch banjos and banjo parts.
