I don't know... I've been putting Garlic Salt on everything here lately, and like the end result...
Good stuff!
I used to put Parmesan cheese on popcorn... that's good, too!

I've done it for years. For one thing, it's finer and sticks better to the popcorn. Besides, garlic is good.

We use it one a lot of things including popcorn, love the garlic breath smell lol.
We eat sweet onions like apples with garlic salt on them.

Good thread. I have been putting garlic salt on my popcorn. Family thought this strange. I try to stay on a healthy diet. For a light snack, I use the 100calorie small bag, add garlic salt. Sometimes sprinkle that cheese stuff they add at the movie popcorn. Very few calories in it also.

We make our own micro corn, paper lunch bag, had full of popcorn kernals,.
Saves you money and calories. Than you just add your toppings. Nothing artificial at all.
My favorite is parsley in melted coconut oil. Mr dingo real garlic & red pepper.

For those on a salt restricted diet, garlic powder will work on popcorn just as well and taste as good.
