Here is a photo taken yesterday , (Jubillee Sunday) at the crick inland waterways boat show anual event. Check out how good a summer we are having by our clothing. Anyhow the gig was outstanding and we achieved two standing ovations and encores. It was a full house and we had a ball. Thanks to all concerned in putting this show on.

Well Done Joe. Sorry I couldn't be there to see you I had to skipper our  Cruise boat Elsdale in the queens Jubilee Thames Parade still hope to book you and Bob for one of the trips

Yeah Joe, we've talked about how closely related weather can be concerning our regions. Its been cooler than norm here too. How long of a set did you guys get?..What did ya choose to play at this function? Did ya make it to the news? Any clips?

Hi kidd, we played a one hour set and decided to keep it lightwieght due to the fact we had a good cross section of the public in the hall. We covered some trad grass and hard driving instrumentals, they always like the fast banjo stuff, then we spread it with some Nancy Griffiths stuff, some of the more popular Dylan stuff, Loads of Kruger songs.( i can almost hear ya saying, "well i guessed that one"!!) did a couple of Hanks as well, finished up with How Long Blues and Bela's Big Country..................I think we will be on the roundup press somewhere but dont know yet as its on for a second day today, and as far as i know, no clips mate. It was a great gig for us, good exposure, we were up alongside some big sounds, a 5 piece blues rig and a Sixties big star twin brother act called the Bachelors who were massive over here 60s/70s. We were told that we saved the day and went down the best, but hey, who cares, it was a good day and the boys done Gooooooood man!!

So you outdid the Bachelors - what was their hit - Charlemain? You guys are my heroes! Sounds like a very fun gig, I'm sure you knocked them dead! I don't know how you play in the cold though, I would need hand warmers.
